A World Public for Art from Austria is not new. More Information can be found at Wikipedia in German: the start in the times of the Nazis, TV distribution in over 90 countries today and also streaming.
But there is a difference in principal to the interactive public of the art of Jura Soyfer as this is music and Soyfer has his importance because of the literature he created.
Important is also that for this public the media are not only used for distribution but there is an artistic concept and even a change of media, new creations.
Take for example this conference: the original idea was the performance in Charkiv | Kharkow. Then there was the cooperation with Hamburg. And „Masterskaya 55“ was invited to show the performance in Vienna.
As corona virus did not allow a performance in Vienna the idea of a virtual presentation came up. A virtual presentation not only for a public in Vienna but for the public Jura Soyfer has in the world. This is a public with lectures, performances, concerts since the 1930iesin different countries. In his life time this was a public in Austria, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Hungary. Since the Nazi occupation of Austria 1938 and the necessity for many Austrians to go into Exil there was also a public in Argentinia (Alfredo Bauer), Australia, USA. With the defeat of the Nazis and Fascism there was a new Distribution in countries like Italy, France, Switzerland. And new performances in Austria, Germany.
But after the defeat of the Nazis Soyfer plays were also distributed as radio plays (Helmut Qualtinger) and later on TV. Together with Otto Tausig Jura Soyfer Society started the attemp to realize Internet art. And the first important example for that is „La fine del mondo“ (The end of the World) from Parthenos in Asti (Italy).
Internet is also important for documentation. With Jura Soyfer Open Access Jura Soyfer Society tries to document this worldwide activities. Thousands of documents are waiting to be published. Some examples are mentioned within this conference. But the usage, the performances are still fragmented.
So the project World public is not new. New is to organize this public in a new way. Not only conferences, exhibitions, performances in over 50 countries and searches from about 200 countries, but one public for one performance. And a new aesthetic for this new sort of art.
In this sense this conference is a part of a new experience. This means in the face of Bollywood, Hollywood, Nollywood, Netflix, the world of numberics a new art.
