The difference between armed resistance and literary resistance is the difference between imitating the body and imitating the mind, and perhaps the most persistent is resistance with the word. Soyfer fought back literarily and others, such as the poets of Palestine and Lebanon, such as Mahmoud Darwish and Khalil Hawi of the Lebanese. How many such personalities have been immortalized in our Arab history, but they lost the limelight and stayed away from the media. This is one of the dilemmas of Arab literary resistance.
